Some Americans stormed the streets in celebration over the news of Osama’s death, but others had a very different reaction. (Also Fox watchers may have been oddly confused see here). The New Yorker re-poseted an old story about Bin Laden’s past that shows how a once pampered and soft-spoken child became exposed to such radical views and came to cause so much destruction in the world. So how is the rest of the world reacting to this? Al Jazeera says “Bin Laden’s death fails to bring Afghan hope.” For some in Afghanistan this killing just re-defines the ever constant question: why is the US still here, and are they ever going to leave?
