K students had the opportunity to “house hop” last Friday afternoon and visit all of the Living Learning Houses on campus. Students were provided a tour or an activity at each house that related in some way to the Living Learning House’s theme.

What is a Living Learning House? Each year, students may to apply to live in free-standing houses on campus. These houses provide a good option for students who would like to remain in the College’s housing system but desire the increased freedom that comes with living in a larger space. The houses are furnished and are complete with a kitchen, living room, and multiple bedrooms and bathrooms.

The requirements? Living Learning houses must host campus events throughout the year that relate to a house theme selected by the residents at the beginning of the year. From documentary showings to poetry slams and service dogs on the quad, the Living Learning Houses have organized a variety of new and interesting events on campus.
